Four days of education, training, networking, learning, sharing, skills development, food, friends, family, and fun. We have thirty, 3-hour Guild Workshops, taught by twelve different instructors, available to choose from on Thursday & Friday on a range of topics surrounding technical skills enhancement.

 

Saturday will include Certification Exams for beauty shears, grooming scissors, clipper blades, and knives along with engaging activities for all skill levels. And you won't want to miss the Sharpening Rig Show.

Sunday we will have Guild Center discussions that provide additional education topics. They are rotation based and open to everyone attending the Convention. Educators will discuss various topics designed to enhance your new or existing business.

 

Vendor rooms will be open all day Saturday and Sunday with exhibitors like The Edge Pro, Hamaguri USA, Shears Direct, The Shop Inc, Nano Hone, Above Shears, Katoku, Nebraska Blades, and more; a Sharpeners Swap Meet and Silent Auction all day Saturday; catered reception and members meeting Saturday evening; and finally, our catered Awards Banquet Dinner on Sunday night to bring the event to a close. 

 

Catered lunch and refreshments are provided on Saturday and Sunday.

Special hotel room rates of $119 a night are available for convention attendees and includes free parking and guest room wireless internet. A link will be provided when you register for the convention so you can make reservations with the hotel.

 

There is something available for all experience levels from beginners who have never touched a pair of shears to 30 year veteran sharpeners.
